There is a music room with modern facilities and regular lessons are conducted in music practice. Students are encouraged to specialize in at least one musical instrument. We encourage our students to sit for MUSON theory and practical examinations.
Students are encouraged to develop new skills and interests in music and instrumentation. The music room is provided with various essential musical instruments, including the guitar, drums set, piano, trumpet, clarinet, and many others.
The lessons are mostly practical in nature and are conducted in a highly resourceful manner, allowing each student an equal opportunity to try and master at least one instrument.
Applicants who seek admission into Fountain Heights Secondary School are required to take a competitive entrance examination. This examination is usually in the first half of the year of admission. Supplementary admission examinations are organized when necessary. It is opened to all without bias for sex, religion, or ethnic background.
